On Saturday June 11h 2022, continuing The JOIWAY CSR series with spreading our love and care for others, this time JOIWAY visit one of the orphanages under Pondok Yatim & Dhu’afa which located on Jalan Anggrek Garuda No. 68 Kemanggisan, Jakarta Barat. This Islamic Orphanage is one of 19 orphanage under the Pondok Yatim & Dhu’afa foundation which we’re inactive during the early years of pandemic, and just start to back active again back to open and since last year
The head dormitory and the administrator, Ummi (Mother) Tika and Mr Susilo, are very nice and friendly. They gave us a lot of stories and information about the children and foundation history, also about the future plan for the children. They also said that instead of “orphanage house”, they called their home as “dormitory”.
This Orphanage have six female children start from the third grade until sixth grade in elementary school. On this Gap Vape 57th CSR charity event, JOIWAY donate rice, cooking oil, eggs, milk, vitamins, bread, and some ready-to-eat food to this 14th dormitory that developed by the Pondok Yatim & Dhu’afa Foundation.
The orphanage is surrounded by green colour, which also just like the JOIWAY colour, which represent our common idea - kindness, and wishes for the children to have a better living in the future.
This movement, has become one of our campaigns that called “Dimulai Dari Yang Baik”, when literally all of our actions will start with a good deed to reach greater things that hopefully will follow. Gap Vape & JOIWAY Corporate Charity, we've been on the road.
