As a form of corporate social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibilty) to the community, JOIWAY conducts blood donation activities located at the Indonesian Red Cross Office in the West Jakarta area. A total of 10 employees participated in the blood donation activity which was first organized by JOIWAY (PT. Hey Fish Indonesia) employees. According to the secretary of PMI West Jakarta, Mr. Ahmad Ujang, they themselves also have a pick-up program for people or companies who want to donate but do not have an operational vehicle, as is currently being done, the PMI Team picks up JOIWAY employees to donate blood at PMI West Jakarta.
According to Mr. Ahmad Ujang (Secretary of West Jakarta) by donating blood, donors get many benefits, including knowing blood type, knowing the diseases that donors may suffer from, he hopes that in the future more employees and the general public will be able to donate blood. Currently, the need for blood bags in the Jakarta area is still quite large, because there are many requests from other regions that need it in an emergency, therefore the Jakarta Area Blood Donor Unit continues to invite Jakarta residents in general to donate blood.
