JOIWAY 65th CSR Activities

As a form of community service, JOIWAY is back with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to improve the social welfare of Indonesians. The 65th GAPVAPE&JOIWAY was held on August 6, 2022 at the Putra Nusa Orphanage located in Central Jakarta. The Putra Nusa Orphanage has been operating for 66 years since its establishment in 1958. Currently, the Putra Nusa Orphanage takes care of 45 children in total. In addition, the Putra Nusa Orphanage is also inhabited by several staff members, most of them voluntarily come to help the orphanage.
The residents of this orphanage are mostly boys aged 8 to 18 years. Ayah Asep, as the caretaker of the orphanage, explained that the Putra Nusa Orphanage strives to provide the best education for children until they graduate from high school. Usually, the children of the Putra Nusa Orphanage immediately study the Quran after finishing their formal education. After graduating from high school, the children are expected to be able to find their own jobs, and live their own lives. This is so that the Putra Nusa Orphanage can still take care of other children in need who have not found a place for them to live.
When visiting the Putra Nusa Orphanage, JOIWAY took the time to socialize with the residents of the orphanage to build good relationships. JOIWAY also provides assistance in the form of daily necessities for children, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, rice, oil, salt, and firewood. JOIWAY also continues to involve company employees in charity events to increase employee empathy and productivity. JOIWAY strives to make a change and create the best atmosphere for the children in the orphanage.
