JOIWAY Donation for Abigail Orphanage Foundation
Sunday, 15 January 2023 - JOIWAY Indonesia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (JOIWAY PEDULI) division continues to run the "Start From the Good" campaign by visiting the Abigail Orphanage Foundation in the South Tangerang area.
Addressed at Jl. Mahoni No.47, RT.3/RW.2, Pamulang Bar., Kec. Pamulang, South Tangerang City, Banten 15417, the Abigail Orphanage Foundation is an orphanage that has been established since 1993. As many as 60 children ranging in age from 3 years to 17 years live and stay at the residence. The orphanage's children are also sent to school by the foundation up to high school and donors are looking for school fees.
The JOIWAY Peduli team provided donations in the form of container boxes, groceries (rice, cooking oil, chicken nuggets, eggs), and medicines. After handing over the donations, the JOIWAY Peduli team continued to talk with the management about the daily life of the orphans.
Currently, the Abigail Orphanage Foundation still really needs help from all parties. In addition to the number of children who have exceeded capacity and lack of mattresses, the foundation also sometimes experiences a shortage of food stocks available for the daily consumption of the foundation's residents.
“During the holidays and New Years, usually many people come to donate. However, months like August to October can be very quiet so we have to find other ways to meet the food consumption needs of all residents.”
Apart from receiving direct aid & assistance, the Abigail Orphanage Foundation can also receive donations through their website and social media accounts.
